Dear colleagues,Welcome back to a whole week of learning again! As the secondary school Week Without Walls is taking place this week, we will have a potentially somewhat quieter building for some time. Please note that Zac is joining the WWW, and teachers from the Secondary School will be teaching PE from Tuesday onwards.
The IB exams are still on this week, and the final CA exams will be on Wednesday.
Thank you again to Kae and Kasumi for organizing the visiting illustrator day last week. Mr. Satake was well-received by our students and parents in the community. What a wonderful way to reach out to our local resources.
Just to inform everybody, we are internally looking for an EAL coordinator as next year, Saiko will be solely focusing on the important and exciting work of an EAL teacher. Huge thanks to Saiko for her relentless and very important work advocating for the multilingual learners at CA for the past seven years! The EAL program has made significant strides under her guidance and support. The EAL team members have been invited to apply for the role, and we will announce the new EAL coordinator before the end of the school year.
Finally, please complete the data on the class list sheets by Wednesday afternoon so that we can make informed decisions about the initial draft class lists for 2024-2025.
