Dear Colleagues,
I trust you held your head high on Saturday, October 5th, as the world celebrated Teachers' Day. Congratulations on choosing this impactful, highly rewarding, and forever challenging profession!
The last two weeks before the fall break will be full of activity. This week, we have photo days happening throughout, Patrick Greene’s session on digital well-being (particularly on Wednesday), the October Assembly on Thursday, and finally, next week will bring Sports Day and parent-teacher conferences.
Thank you again for your flexibility, agility, and focus on literacy during Emily’s sessions. Your creativity and resilience helped us navigate through the many absences due to PD and illnesses.
This week, we’ll miss Heather and Erin on Monday as they attend PD, Seth is out on Monday and Tuesday, and Samantha will be out all week. Satya and Rebecca will be stepping in as substitute teachers.
On Tuesday, we’ll resume the Bite-sized PD sessions, focusing on the 3rd edition of Bridges. In PE, the children will focus on teamwork in preparation for Sports Day.
