Dear colleagues,As we launch our first week of school, we want to express our excitement for the year ahead. Connecting with both returning and new students and many parents will be wonderful. Let’s continue to give extra care to the newcomers, helping them feel welcomed and supported in our community.
Given the heat, we invite everyone to be extra vigilant on the playground, keeping a close eye on students and encouraging hydration. Please also remind students of our cafeteria expectations: no running, the importance of washing hands before eating, and helping them adhere to their assigned seating.
Additionally, at the end of the day, walking out with the students will be helpful to ensure that everyone connects with their parents and/or siblings, gets on the bus on time, or knows how to get on their trip home safely.
Thank you to Yuko Hosoda for stepping in for Remi in the office. We all miss Remi and keeping our fingers crossed that she will feel better soon and return to the office.
