Happy December to everyone!
As we approach the final three weeks of busy learning, report card writing, and all the excitement that comes with this time of year, we encourage you to take care of yourselves and your colleagues. Please continue to stay vigilant as you supervise and find ways to manage behavioral expectations while addressing the diverse needs of your students.
Congratulations to the Grade 4 team for hosting the Ikuno visitors as part of our 20th-anniversary collaboration with this wonderful rural school. I’m sure the reciprocal visit will be an exciting experience for both parties and another valuable opportunity to learn about our host country and the cultural richness we are privileged to live in.
A heartfelt thank you to Ellen, Yoshiko, and Yuka Watanabe for leading the first series of Positive Parenting workshops. This has been a highly appreciated opportunity for our parents to explore their role in supporting their children’s growth and development.
We will gather for the December briefing on Tuesday morning, with some seasonal treats waiting for us in the MPR. Wednesday’s time is set aside for report writing. Please make use of your colleagues’ insights and expertise to craft meaningful and supportive messages for parents, reflecting the progress you’ve observed in their children this fall.
