Dear Colleagues,
We’ve made it—just two and a half days to go! As we head into this final stretch of the school year, we hope you can take time to enjoy these last joyful moments with your students. These are the days they’ll remember most: the laughter, the games, the goodbyes, and the memories made together.
Here are a few important reminders for this week:
Erin and Trevor will have some off-schedule time on Monday and Tuesday to complete a final review of report cards. These, along with MAP and WIDA results for Grades 3-5, will be sent to families on Wednesday afternoon. On Monday, classroom teachers please remind students with wiggle boards to start taking them home.
Erin and Trevor will sign-off the End-of-year procedures checklist this week when they are ready. On Tuesday, they will be in the ES office 9:30-10:45 and 15:20-16:00 in case you have found them before that.
Our Year-end Assembly will take place on Wednesday morning at 9:30 in the theatre. It will be a fun and meaningful way to come together one last time as a school community. Please also note, there will be no single-subject teacher classes.
Students will be dismissed at 11:30 on Wednesday. Following dismissal, we’ll gather for a faculty lunch, then enjoy divisional time at 13:00, and finally raise a glass together during an end-of-year toast hosted by Lindsey at 2:30. We hope to see you all there to celebrate the year that was.
Thank you for your incredible efforts in writing thoughtful reports, nurturing learning, and finishing the year on a strong note. Let’s savor these last few days and send our learners into summer with a smile.
