The Last Weekly Updates of School Year 17-18, Monday, 11 June 2018

Dear colleagues,

It is time to conclude this school year by celebrating all the accomplishments and achievements as well as enjoy
the last days of the school year 2017-2018. Thank you for the dedication and perseverance to make this year happen.
Also, thank you to everyone for making the end of year party at the Kobe club and beyond a memorable night.

Also, we would like to say thank you for the feedback regarding Learning Leader roles, Lit - Math - UoI reps,
reporting and the ES action plan past week. We will look at the information early this week and share the
conclusions on the Blogger before we finish.

This week we will finalize the reporting process and on Wednesday, the CA town hall meeting wraps-up the school
year. This week culminates with the Elementary School Assembly in the main theater. The assembly starts at
9:00 am and finishes around 10:15 at the latest.

Congratulations again on leading and facilitate the very successful teaching and learning this school year.

Weekly Updates, Monday 4 June, 2018

Dear colleagues,

Welcome to the penultimate week of the school year and congratulations to the CA Class of 2018 and Secondary
School for running such a successful ceremony on Sunday!

Thank you for getting the comments, strengths, and next steps completed for the report card. Please, complete the
edits by 10th of June.

We would like to ask you to remind the students about behavior expectations in the cafeteria, including no running,
no shouting, only 8 students per table and that they should clean the tables and return the clothes to the supervisor.
You may even want to walk your students to the cafeteria line to ensure calm and safe cafeteria time as the students
are getting increasingly excited about the end of the school year.

Also, according to the weather forecast, this week it may get hot in the afternoons so it will be important to have
water bottles with the students when going outside.

Tuesday morning we have the last faculty meeting of the year so we are inviting the ES faculty for a breakfast to
celebrate the occasion. The Wednesday PD time is dedicated to a busy agenda of reflection and forward planning.
We will finish this week with faculty end-of-year party on Saturday at the Kobe Club.
