Weekly Update, Monday ,1 April, 2024

Dear colleagues,

Welcome back from what I hope was a very relaxing and enjoyable spring break!

As we return to our normal classroom, transition, and snack/lunch routines, it might also be beneficial to introduce another routine related to our lunch baskets. This is something we'll discuss further in Tuesday morning's briefing. The plan is to ensure that every Friday, after the lunch break, we bring the baskets back to class, empty them of any remaining lunch boxes, and remove any other items that may have found their way inside. This will help us avoid the habit of leaving lunch boxes in the baskets for an extended period.

Our monthly Tuesday morning briefing will continue to highlight upcoming dates and events. On Wednesday, we will join the rest of the faculty and staff to celebrate the cherry blossoms and the season with O-hanami.

We'll conclude the week with another amazing art and music show featuring the KB and Grade 1 learners.

Have a great week!

Erin, Trevor, and Heikki
