Dear colleagues,
The final week of April is here which marks an important milestone in teaching and learning in the Elementary School. The IB PYP Exhibition will come to its final fruition this Thursday and on Friday we continue to celebrate the year of learning in our student-led conferences.
Both of these events are moments of excitement, the cumulation of a massive amount of work, and an opportunity to shine as teachers and students. We are very lucky to have such an exceptional student body at CA who will always remember the hard-working, caring, and highly able teachers who are lucky to share their learning journeys. We hope you enjoy every moment of it, no matter how hard the journey sometimes presents itself.
Thank you to all the assembly organizers, performers, and the audience for making the first in-person assembly possible. The next assembly may be only possible to have online due to the IB exams in the Theater. Congratulations to the grade 12 for their last day of formal school and good luck with the final exams. The students were impressed and excited by the cheering and clapping of the Elementary School.
This Wednesday, we join Eeqbal for the first hour to continue our exploration of the DEI concepts. The second hour is for final preparations for the conferences and the PYP Exhibition.
As we finish the week, we start the Golden Week break and return back to school on Wednesday next week.
Let’s enjoy this wonderful busy and exciting week!
Riana, Trevor, and Heikki
