Dear colleagues,
We are in December this week, so weeks are passing by fast. The final three weeks before the winter holiday will require us all to support each other, stay calm and work diligently on many things, including completing the report cards as we manage students’ increasing excitement with our potentially slowly declining energy levels.
Congratulations to Tangala and Satsuki for completing the grade 5 art exhibition and concert.
What a great success! Special thanks to Ellen, Yoshiko, and Yuka for leading our second parenting workshop. It was interactive and very well attended. Additionally, a big thank you to Kitao-sensei, who successfully supported the Japanese-speaking parents during our mathematics parent workshop. Thank you to all teachers for opening the classroom doors for parents to see wonderful mathematics learning in practice.
This week, Eeqbal Hassim will visit CA to help us continue our work on intercultural competencies. Please, refer to Clover’s schedule to gain support from Eeqbal as you are planning upcoming units that would lead to the development of the concepts of DEIJ. Our Wednesday collaboration session is also led by Eeqbal.
Let’s have an enjoyable week!
