Dear colleagues,
Happy New Year and welcome back for the remaining part of the school year! We trust that everyone has had a great holiday and a wonderful time to relax and recharge. We return to work with excitement as the long-awaited Adaptive Schools training will be launching a new important and inspiring phase in the area of collective and collaborative professionalism at CA. Yet again we will have a wonderful opportunity to grow as a school and collegial teams to best serve the learning of our students as well as ourselves as educators.
Students will be joining us on Wednesday, 9 of January. There will be a good number of new students joining the classes of which keeps us busy in partnering them up with their buddies, providing transitional support and learning materials so that they can have a positive and productive start in our school.
Also, this week, Tania Lattanzio will be helping the PoI review team (Kim, Trevor, Riana, Saiko, Steve, and Jen C) to have an overhaul of our Program of Inquiry starting in 2019-2020.
Finally, the Japan Days will continue to enrich our students learning of Japanese language and culture as part of their growth at CA.
We look forward to seeing you all at breakfast or at the Adaptive Schools training the latest.
