Dear colleagues,
The last full week of school is ahead of us. The temperatures are rising, which creates potential challenges for students to stay energetic in class and stay cool and not too exhausted as we are still required to wear masks even when outside. Please remind the students that they can momentarily move their masks off outside when not surrounded by others to get a few good deep breaths of air. Let’s stay vigilant and send the children for water breaks in the shade or even indoors if you think they look like they may be suffering from the heat.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the wonderful speeches conveying the true sense of loss we all feel. It is always incredibly sad when our colleagues and friends move ahead with their lives and leave the CA community behind. We are grateful for the wonderful memories and will always appreciate the time we have shared.
This week we start with the final Extended Learning of the school year. Extended learning continues to capture the passion and interests of both students and faculty members of which we may not otherwise find opportunities.
On Wednesday we will acknowledge the end of the school year and peek into the coming year before meeting with Jon to better understand the national insurance and CA benefits practices in the future.
Enjoy the week!
Riana, Trevor, and Heikki
