Good morning Elementary School!
Welcome to the first week of school ready and excited to meet the students. The start of the day will be interesting, probably a bit chaotic, filled with reunions and introductions, as well as, the exciting start of learning.
We are well prepared for the week and the many following after. Every team has worked really hard to make sure that we have the necessary level of efficacy and flexibility available to have a truly successful school year.
Keep smiling, no matter what happens. There may be students missing and confused, or we may even get someone joining us who we were not expecting to arrive yet. I am sure we will make everyone feel welcome and looked after.
MASKS: The Leadership Team has decided that students should be wearing masks at all times including when outside if possible. Naturally, we need to keep an eye on the children and adjust that if it may be too hot for the students to keep their masks on. We will observe the situation and keep everyone updated as we supervise the recesses.
This week’s Wednesday learning will be busy as we will spend some time preparing for Back to School Night, our first Extended Learning, and have a quick meeting on how to plan for the activities in support of Friday’s listening conferences.
