Once again, congratulations to Tangala and Satsuki for the wonderful art explosion with the grades 1 and 2 students.
Also, thank you to Saiko and Kaoru for hosting our visitors and to everyone for making them feel welcome to see our teaching and learning in practice. We look forward to hearing about their observations and wondering.
This week we will get together on Tuesday morning for the March faculty briefing, and on Wednesday, we have Tankyuu and community focus afternoon. Please, check Clover’s message about community building here.
Also, this week (6 - 10 March), the grade 12 students will be enjoying the mock IBDP exams in the Main Theatre. The Exam sessions run from 8.30-11.30am and 12.30-3.30pm.
On Thursday, the grade 2 students will go skating, and we have parents joining a workshop on teaching and learning science in the Elementary School. We are hoping to visit classrooms to see some science learning in practice.
Finally, the 3rd season of after-school clubs is starting on Monday. Students will be eager to join some of the new exciting activities.
Let’s have a wonderful week!
