Dear Colleagues,
Welcome to the first week of the school year 2023-2024! How exciting times, as always. Surely, we are all nervous and happy to see the children and families. We all want to have the opportunity to welcome everyone and contribute to the buzz in the playground, cafeteria, in classrooms, and take some photos of Gr 1- 5 student faces as they enter the new learning spaces.
We are very excited to introduce the teaching teams to the students and parents. The collegiality, collaboration, and the utmost care for the children are highly evident in every corner of the school. The students and families are incredibly fortunate to have such professional and talented educators at their service.
Thank you all for making the learning spaces look neat and welcoming. Please, note that the maintenance team will make a final sweep of the learning spaces and hallways for gomi and things to go to storage on Monday from 7 am onwards so that our wonderful facilities in the whole Elementary School look amazing before we open the doors.
We ask you to be ready to welcome and show the ways to the cubbies and classrooms as the doors open. Although the majority of students are somewhat familiar with the spaces and the start of the day is quite free-flowing, the specialists can help in the following areas:
Atrium: Hiroki and Trichelle
ELAC: Trevor, Satsuki, and Iman
Health Office:(around 8:30 - 9:00) Kae-san and Samantha (helping the students whose health documents are confirmed first thing in the morning)
Gr 1 - 5 Learning Zone
Helping the students to place their stuff in the cubbies and bringing lunch boxes and drink bottles into the learning zone.
G1 Noriko and Heather

G3 Emi and Michelle
G4-5 Seth and Kasumi
We have chosen the grade-level tables and marked them with signs for the morning snack and will do it again for lunch. You can find the cafeteria seating map here.
