Evaluation: What are we well prepared for?

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you for your input today in the meeting. I thought I would share what everyone feels we are well prepared for. I have condensed the list based on common themes. The first three on this list were written by five or more people.

What we are well prepared for
- We are well prepared in our documentation/curriculum and to share our units, we know our units.
- I feel well prepared for any questions that involve the PYP framework.
- Student learning and positive attitudes will be evident.
- We are well prepared to show how we have grown in our PYP practice and share the reasoning behind our changes and development.
- We are good at establishing an environment that shows a learner centered classroom with inquiry taking form in many ways.
- EAL and Learning Support
- Integration of units for specials
- Classroom displays of the learner profile /attitudes, etc.
- I think we're well prepared to talk about our roles and responsibilities; to show our resources; to talk about our students progress.
- Showing our PYP planning for our UOIs
- I just feel ready.
- We started early enough and working in groups helped make the process go smoothly.
- CA is a good school. We can only show who we are - no need to pretend. ;-)

Questions:
There were a few great questions/wonderings which I have replied to directly. The Online Curriculum Center (OCC) admin site was down today. I will send logins to those who requested, when the IB system is running again.

Here is the presentation from today and here are our IB visitors, Paul and Rachel.
