Dear colleagues,
This week is a big week in the Elementary School. First, on Thursday, we can all celebrate the culminating process of Exhibition which is coming to its end. Our grade five students are to display the processes and outcomes of inquiry-based learning as defined by the IB Primary Years Programme. On Friday, the celebration of learning continues through Student-Led Conferences. We are hoping that our students will have the confidence, ownership, and enthusiasm to share their thinking, skills, and understanding with their parents. This week will also display the amazing art at CA. Please take the opportunity to explore the school and the art with the students. Finally, the creative connections will bring 16 art educators to our school on Friday and Saturday.
Have a great week!

14:20 - 16:30 Preparing classroom and stations for Student Led Conferences
A great idea (discussed at lunchroom past week) for helping parents with questions: “Attach to every station a list of suggested questions for parents.”
UOI: Trevor will not attend planning meetings this week.
Literacy: No Planning meetings this week due to SLC. It would be helpful to focus this week on collecting samples of student work to drop into unit folders.
