Dear colleagues,
We trust you had a wonderful three-day-recovery weekend. One great benefit of this three-day-weekend is that we
have a four day week ahead of us. However, we may sometimes feel that we have to accomplish all five days worth
of work in four days. So make sure you pace your workload sensibly.

As you probably were aware that the report cards were opened last week and we can start already plugging in the
evaluation of standards since August. The general comments, and strengths and next steps are surely under your
careful planning as the time commitment is significant and requires from us all smart pacing, artful succinct writing,
and resilience.

Thank you again for making the CIS/WASC/IB syncronized visit successful and smooth. We would like to
acknowledge the hard work from domain groups, curriculum team (Renee, Riana, Trevor, Graig, and Sarah), the
efficient coordination and planning of the whole visit schedule by Renee, thoughtful participation in meetings by
the community members, and of course the professional teaching that resulted uninterrupted learning in classrooms.
What was clearly recognized by all the members of the visiting teams, and deserves to be repeated several times is
that we have excellent teachers, who are committed to the excellent practice and effective instructional language,
as well as demonstrate care for all learners despite their needs. As we are waiting for the official commendations
and recommendations in writing, the leadership team will reflect on the oral feedback we received from the visiting
teams to start thinking ahead of plans and the iteration of the next strategic plan.

This Wednesday, we will plan the final two Extended Learning sessions before winter break and enjoy the opportunities provided by the Wellness Wednesday.
Let’s enjoy the four day week!
