Dear colleagues,
Welcome to sunny February! Weather-wise this week seems to continue as dry, somewhat cooler, but sunny.
Hopefully, everyone feels healthy and strong to dodge and resist any viruses that may linger in our corridors.
Again, please keep up the wonderful work on reminding students to wash their hands and to practice healthy
hygiene habits all day every day.

Thank you to all for yet another successful Extended Learning session on Friday. Every ninth day offers students
opportunities to explore areas of learning deeply respond to their needs to be challenged in all areas at school.
Students are engaged, excited, happy, and challenged every day, but the EL is truly the icing on the cake.

On Friday night, many talented students across the school gathered to perform at the RMcD Talent Show. It was
wonderful to see so many brave and talented Elementary School students on the stage.

This week you may want to pay attention to the Setsubun bean throwing cultural challenge with the Japanese
department on Monday as well as to the Tuesday Morning faculty meeting. In our meeting, we will look ahead of
some of the dates, events, updates, and milestones that are impacting our lives in the next month or so.
On Wednesday, we will hear from the Research and Design group about the value of assessment and then dedicate
time to plan the next Extended Learning. Related to assessment please check the following link for access codes
to the F & P Running Record assessments. Tutorials, videos, recording sheets all available. To end the week,
we have the TGIF on Friday starting at 3:45 in the BBT!
