Dear colleagues,
Welcome back to the second week and the first full week of distance learning. As the COVID-19 continues to
challenge the operations of governments, health professionals, and many schools around the world, it is a great
honor to be part of an institution and most importantly a group of professional educators who have taken the
challenge to ensure the continuation of student learning and well-being. Parents have been impressed with the
learning that we have been able to convey through digital tools and the manner the students have tackled the tasks.
The amount of work, creativity, and particularly the collaborative effort is definitely noted and appreciated by the
students and parents.

This week we will try the class meetings via GoogleMeet. Please, remember to schedule your meetings with the
students for Wednesday and Friday. We encourage you to divide the meetings into two or three groups for the first
meeting and then decide whether it is possible to have all the children from your class in one meeting.

As mentioned before, distance learning is offering a highly personalized model for learning of which may offer
us new and interesting insights into using technology to differentiate learning when we resume our education back
in the classrooms. Naturally, this is all very new to us and the students and I am sure that we will encounter
challenges and discover better ways to reach the different learners as our experience increases.

Although it may be tight to accomplish all the distance learning tasks within the 8-hour workday, we do encourage
you to utilize the flexibility of the campus hours to look after your well-being whenever possible.

It takes some time to get used to the new workflow and daily routines.
Let’s have another successful week!
