Welcome back to the school year 2020-2021! Finally, we are able to get together as a faculty and re-build our community, and continue the high-quality teaching and learning at Canadian Academy face to face. The students are ready to join us on Thursday and we believe that this will be the case with us.
We certainly hope that you have been able to enjoy the summer in this yet another new beginning. This week we are going to dive into the new normal as we open the campus for our students, faculty, and staff after a long time.
As you must have read from messages from Jon, there are a number of mindsets and practices we need to adapt to and to build a collective sense of responsibility to ensure that we feel and are safe. With regards to COVID-19, so many things are contextual and difficult to understand and generalize. By responding with clarity, calmness, and consistency we can create a warm, welcoming, and safe learning environment for ourselves and the students. Many things will evolve as we start, so we hope that the safety manual, processing through conversations and meetings, and creative solutions will bring us all together to have another successful chapter in the life of CA.
