Dear colleagues,
October is as beautiful as expected! Congratulations to all of us for having the beautiful Atrium back and making the school really buzzing with excitement. We hope that there will be plenty of opportunities for using the space both for learning and connecting the students across the school.
Now that the State of Emergency has been lifted and parents are allowed to the playground after school, we hope that the sense of community will be heightened for the benefit of the school.
This week brings the photographers to the school making some of the morning schedules unusual. We are sure that the smiles and moments captured by the photographers will be worth it.
On Tuesday we will get together in the morning to learn about Service Learning and review the expectations and logistics of the approaching Parent-Teacher Conferences.
On Wednesday, we start the process of looking at data in support of conferences and as part of the school’s operational plan. The second half of the session is dedicated for teams to prepare content for and structure the Parent-Teacher conferences. The Japanese team will continue to work on their curriculum this session and will take the time for conference preparation as a team in their non-contact time. Below, you can find the Wednesday Learning schedule all the way until winter break.
Have a great week!
Riana, Trevor, and Heikki
