Weekly Updates, Monday, 12 December 2022

Dear colleagues,

The final week of learning and the excitement of approaching the holiday is upon us. Ellen, Yoshiko, and Yuka will start the week by helping our parents to hone their parenting skills before they are on their own with the kids for three weeks. That should do it!

Thank you to the ES student council and the Secondary School SBC for the wonderful spirit week!

There was a lot of excitement, laughter, and joy in every corner of the school. Spot on timing, wonderful ideas, and definitely needed to get us all in the right mood.

Thank you to everyone for making sure that, again, the parents will have something exciting to read over the holidays. Report cards are almost there with few final steps to go. 

On Wednesday, we will meet as a faculty for a Town Hall meeting with Jon.

On Thursday, the Falcon Cup finally gets going. What a wonderful timing to have the soccer tournament simultaneously with the Men’s Soccer World Cup. Indeed, many young players will see themselves as some of those soccer stars in our tournament.

Finally, on Friday, we will get together first in our homerooms during the first lesson and then head towards the theater for the Holiday Assembly. There are no specials on Friday, and we ask the specialist teachers to spend time in the homeroom supporting classroom teachers first thing in the morning. 

We will finish the day at 11:30 and wish everyone Happy Holidays!
