Dear colleagues,
We hope everyone is comfortably getting ready for the conferences and we are all good to go in a couple weeks. The sign-up opens this week, and we will keep you posted daily about the balance between in-person and online meetings. However, as you may have read in the message sent home, we strongly encourage an in-person visit this time. The 3-way conference is definitely best done in person. Here is the link to the guidelines and expectations for the conferences
Thank you for the grade 5 team getting the Exhibition planning process started for everyone, as we set the target for the end of April. Also, thank you to the Japanese team and visiting Onis for creating a wonderful Setsubun atmosphere on the second floor.
This week will include Tuesday morning briefing and professional learning in the forms of Teachers-to-Teachers and Toddle training. On Thursday, we will invite the parents in to learn about our classroom practices related to developing a Culture of Kindness and share some ideas on how parents may be able to support that at home. We would like to visit classrooms around 9 AM to observe some of the class meetings in practice.
The week closes with the highly anticipated Talent Show. Definitely, an event to see and contribute to the valuable work done at the Chemo House.
Let’s have a great week!
