Weekly Updates, Monday, 11 March, 2024

Dear colleagues,

This week brings parent sessions on Child Safeguarding and Positive Parenting, keeping the parents ever-engaged as partners in our school. We will kick off our Wednesday learning with Heather DeVore, who will assist us in better understanding and utilizing the CPOMS recording system as we monitor the safety of our children. This session will be followed by a quick sharing of the Action Plan feedback data, and then we'll spend the bulk of our time reflecting on previous units and planning for the new ones starting soon.

On Thursday, we will come together as an Elementary School to celebrate learning and birthdays, and hopefully, we will see many brave students performing in our assembly.

Thank you to all Grade 1-5 faculty for your help with the cafeteria lines. The students are definitely calmer and better organized as they arrive for lunch. Thank you for prioritizing those with home lunches in the line and assisting the Cezars lunch members remember their places in their respective lines.

Finally, this Sunday also marks the start of Ramadan. Please note that our dance room, opposite the cafeteria, serves as a prayer room.
