PYPX Mentor Update #1

Dear Potential Mentors,

We would just like to share the news that the G5 students have all chosen a key issue and have been placed in their umbrella groups. Please check this document to sign up for a menteeSimply type your name under the student's name and we will contact you to confirm. We have added additional information about the student to give context to their choice or to let you know about their background as a learner. If you can mentor more than one student or need advice to choose between a few students, please add your name next to the student(s) and send the homeroom teachers an email. The Mentor Packet explains the roles and responsibilities of both students and mentors. It also has a copy of the Student Timeline following the phases of the Exhibition to help guide the meetings.

In addition to mentoring, we need your help today. We will be holding our last Tuning-in session from 13:00-14:15 in S304. If you are free at that time, please stop in to chat/confer with the students. They will be refining their key issues, questions, beginning to research, and practicing to explain their key issue to their parents for Parent Coffee on Thursday morning. It would be great to have a few more teachers to listen to their thinking.
