Tuesday Morning Meeting, 4 Oct, 2016 + Grading criteria

The Achievement Grade is decided based on the following criteria:

Progress for students at CA is evaluated using the following evaluation scale:
5: Highly Proficient
The student moves beyond the learning expectations at a high level of proficiency. Skills are performed consistently without support. Skills are applied in a variety of situation.

4. Proficient
The student meets learning expectations at a consistent level of proficiency. Skills are performed without support. Skills are generally applied in familiar situations.

3. Nearing Proficiency
The student performs many of the major learning expectations with basic proficiency. Skills are performed with some support. Skills are generally applied in familiar situations with support.

2. Progressing
The student is beginning to make progress toward the expected level of proficiency. Skills are performed with frequent support. Skills are generally applied in familiar situations with frequent support.

1. Inconsistent Progress
The student is not yet able to perform many of the expectations. Skills are performed inconsistently, with extensive teacher support.
