Dear colleagues,
Welcome to a shorter week before the Spring Break. Today’s time will be used in a variety of ways, and it will certainly help us to organize our plans, documentation, resources and spaces for the remainder of the year as well as for the school year 17-18. In the past week, we celebrated the Grade 3 Ethnology Museum and Grades 1 and 2 musical journey through a concert. Both events were huge successes demonstrating student learning, preparation, and execution at its best. Thank you to all the teachers working in the background. On Wednesday morning this week, we will invite parents for a coffee morning to focus on literacy development and to peek into the classrooms to see how both teachers and students do it in practice. Parents are always highly appreciative for the opportunities to observe learning in our classrooms as well as for developing a better understanding of our programs. In the afternoon, we will reflect on the pilot year of co-teaching as well as get together in our Lit and Math committees.
Let’s have a great week!
