In the case of homeroom, students will stay in the class until 14:25.

Assembly
The next ES Assembly will take place on Tuesday, 19th February will start at 9:00 and finish by 10:00 the latest.

Japanese
Japanese lessons that are shorter than 45 minutes will start 5 - 10 minutes later unless connected to lunch break. When connected to the lunch break, the lesson will start on time allowing more time for transitioning to the cafeteria.

Field Trips, Concerts etc.
Please make sure that the pilot does not stop you from going to any field trips.
Also, we may have to organize some practice for the ES concert outside music classes to ensure a sufficient amount of practice before the concerts and because some of the venues have been already booked in advance.

Parent Communication
Please, do not send parents the whole 9-day schedule as it may just confuse and scare the families.
Parents need to know about PE, library visits as they need to bring their books, and any special events like trips, concerts, etc.
A suggested line for your parent communication: In the next two weeks we are piloting a draft new schedule. School starts and ends at the same time. However, PE days and times will be different from what was previously communicated. In the next two weeks, the PE lessons are on... at... Also, we will visit the library on ... After the conferences, we will return back to the normal schedule. Should you have further questions about the schedule-pilot, please do not hesitate to turn to Mr. Soini, attend Principal Coffee Mornings, or seek further information on the CA website.
