Dear colleagues,
Welcome to the second pilot period of our draft schedule! The next two weeks will line up wonderfully to the
spring break and hopefully, now when the conferences offered us more information about student learning we
can have a great period of effective learning in class as well as in the playground where our students are getting
used to the longer recess break. Please, note that this week we will follow the clock timings from the previous
pilot and next week we are experiencing for the first time the proposed schedule of which is more aligned with
the secondary school.

As Heikki will be in Hong Kong from Monday to Thursday, Kim and Trevor are taking the lead in his absence.
Please, consult them for advice if any challenges with the schedule, disciplining students, indoor/outdoor recess
decisions etc. Trevor will be organizing the assembly. Please, remind your students who wish to perform to let
Trevor or Remi know in advance and remind them about the practice on Tuesday and Wednesday during lunch
recesses. On Wednesday, the self-study domain teams will get together to follow up with their tasks.
