Weekly Updates, Monday 6 May, 2019

Dear colleagues,
Welcome to the warm month of May! Hopefully, the past five days have offered you the time and thinking space to
get ready for the last push of the year. The student-led conferences seemed to all go well and now we have gathered
plenty of data for successfully completing the end-of-year report cards.
On Tuesday morning, in our faculty meeting, we will go through the class list creation procedure and the
end-of-year procedures, and other practical procedures regarding the last 6 weeks.
Please note that the IB exams are on and therefore, we should avoid student presence in the atrium as much as
possible. e.g. rainy-day-breaks with 4th and 5th graders will have to be moved to the library and the classrooms.
However, the weather looks as it should now in May so maybe anything mentioned above is not necessary.
Let’s have a great week!
Kim, Trevor, and Heikki
