Weekly Updates, Monday, 2nd December 2019

Dear colleagues,

Happy December to all! The last three weeks of school before the winter break are ahead of us. Thank you to the
Student Council for the amazing and fun pajama day! Great spirit, happy kids, and tasty hot chocolate.

Congratulations to Karen, Jen, Kasumi, and Jan for successfully hosting our annual visitors from Ikuno. All the
children seem to enjoy the day. Also, thank you for making the Wellness Wednesday a successful collegial
afternoon as a facilitator or a participant.

This week we will meet the first time with the Behavior Intervention Committee. The following day we will have
our final Tuesday morning Faculty Meeting. On the agenda, we have a few running issues and we attempt to clarify
the Tankyuu and peer observation process that seemed to have raised some good questions. Tuesday afternoon will
be filled with action and exciting learning during our Extended Learning period.

Ellen Lowery will welcome parents for a coffee morning on Wednesday morning. She will be helping our parents
to engage parenting through Positive Discipline. On Wednesday afternoon, the time has been dedicated to report
card writing. We will have no gathering in the MPR.
