Dear colleagues,
The sunny and warm weather brings a strong message about the approaching summer. The weather forecast promises a couple more warm and sunny days before some rain. Let’s hope that the weather will be supportive of the International Food and Fun Fair which will be finally returning this Saturday after
three years. The long-awaited community event will re-introduce many of the community members to each other in person and gets everyone to enjoy food and fun events.
On Tuesday, this week, some faculty members will participate in the Arts Curriculum review meeting, and the Language Policy development meeting on Thursday. On Wednesday, we will have designated collaborative planning time and then focus on preparing for Tankyuu reflection which will take place next week.
We finish the week with our concert and art exhibition finale on Friday. PreK/KA and KB students will perform live for their parents in the main theater and the whole Elementary School can enjoy the concert online. The wonderful PreK/KA and KB art exhibition will be displayed in the ELAC hallways.
Let’s have a great week!
Riana, Trevor, and Heikki
