Dear colleagues,
Saturday we were lucky with the weather and supportive of the very successful first big community event at CA. Thank you to the PTA, volunteers, and Rob for making it all happen. It was very clear that this kind of event was a long-awaited community celebration.
Congratulations to Tangala and Satsuki for completing the arts series of concerts and art exhibitions with our PreK/KA and KB children. The students performed with poise and energy on the stage and the pieces of art displayed in the ELAC hallways were inspiring and touching expressions of their creative minds and views of the world.
This week starts with an operational planning session from 8:30 to 12:00 with the school Leadership Team getting together to think about next year’s bigger goals. Also on Monday, Ellen, Yoshiko, and Yuka will conclude the highly impactful parenting sessions. On Wednesday, we will get together to plan and hear about the work from the R&D team related to the report cards for school year 22-23. We will also continue to plan for the renovation as we learn more about the dates and timing of the project.
On Thursday, we will have our first hybrid assembly. We will confirm the classes who will be attending the assembly in person soon. We will have the opportunity to practice for the assembly in the theater as well. We finish the week with day 9 and Extended Learning #16.
