Weekly Updates, Monday, 7 October 2019

Dear colleagues,
We trust you enjoyed the slightly cooler weekend. Let’s hope we can call the typhoon season over soon.
On Wednesday parents are invited to join coffee morning to peek into learning in our classrooms. We will be visiting
classrooms around 9:00 for the remaining 20 minutes. We are hoping to explore different types of teaching and
learning settings. Heikki will be going around on Monday and Tuesday asking people to share what is happening in
their classrooms during the first lesson. Parents will be asked to observe both teacher and student roles during
lessons. On Wednesday afternoon, the whole school will be getting together to learn about the new teacher growth
model and how Tankyuu goals may be formed this school year.
On Friday, we will finish the week with extended learning.
Let’s have another great week!
