As we head into our second week of Bridges, here are a few ideas and scheduled items to keep in mind.
Module Two Manipulatives
These will be arriving later today or tomorrow. If you need anything urgently for today, please let Trevor know.
Wed. PD Sept 13:
As the mid-way point in the first five weeks of implementation, we will have time to check in about trying out Bridges, share ideas/questions, and become familiar with more of the modelling and manipulatives. This will be a one hour session.
Nita In-school Workshop:
A schedule is currently being created for the 25th-27th and will be shared by the end of the week. The workshop will involve labsites with Nita Copley teaching and discussions afterwards to talk about the strategies she used and the perspectives of the learners that she considered. There will also be a parent workshop on the Tuesday and a staff workshop during the Wednesday PD. More information will follow when the draft schedule is sent out.
